I have always been fascinated by Hares, their large ears and long powerful hind legs. I wanted to do the ears exaggerated to emphasise how majestic they are. I pressed cloth inside the ears and carved most of it. I love the process of creating texture as well as the result. Ultimately I would like to mount it with a metal rod on a wooden plinth with metal whiskers.
